Touring Travel Specialist

We’ve got our hands on a great opportunity for a Touring Travel Specialist to join a leading global touring agency, supporting Tour Managers and their clients with everything from flights and ticketing to travel logistics and those inevitable last-minute changes.

You’ll be joining a busy, collaborative team where no two days are quite the same. It’s a role that needs someone organised, detail-focused and calm under pressure — because when you’re looking after touring travel, plans can change very quickly!

London based, 5 days in the office initially, moving to 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely after successful completion of probation.

The Opportunity

We’ve got our hands on a great opportunity for someone who knows their way around a GDS and wants to take their travel career in a different direction.

You’ll be supporting Tour Managers with the day-to-day travel logistics that keep tours moving around the world. From flights, ticketing and reissues to changes, group bookings and all the little details in between, you’ll be instrumental in helping tours take place!

It’s a varied role where attention to detail, problem-solving and great service really matter. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, working to deadlines and keeping a cool head when the itinerary suddenly changes!

If you’ve got GDS experience, a good understanding of fares and ticketing, and a genuine interest in touring and travel, this could be a great opportunity to build your experience in a really specialist area of the industry.

 What you’ll be doing

Managing travel logistics for touring clients, making sure every detail is accurate.

Supporting Tour Managers by booking flights,  hotels, ticketing and reissues.

Handling enquiries quickly & efficiently.

Working to deadlines, managing budgets.

Building strong relationships with clients as well as suppliers and colleagues.

Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Keeping calm and finding solutions when  plans change.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience using a GDS is essential.

Ticketing and reissue experience would be a strong advantage.

Good knowledge of fares and negotiated/ contracted fares.

Confidence using Microsoft Office,  particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Excellent organisation and time-management skills.

The ability to prioritise, multitask and stay  calm under pressure.

Experience with group bookings would be a bonus.

Most importantly, a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in travel.
