Finance Administration Assistant

The Opportunity

We’ve got our hands on a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start a career in administration and finance within the Business Travel industry.

You’ll be joining a small but perfectly formed Finance Team, supporting the day-to-day running of the department while getting to grips with how the world of corporate travel works.

It’s a varied role covering everything from invoicing and credit control to air ticket reconciliations and accounting queries, so there’ll be plenty to learn and plenty to keep you busy.

If you’re organised, good with numbers and looking for a role where you can learn the ropes and build your experience, this could be a very good place to start.

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be supporting the Finance Team and learning plenty about the Business Travel industry along the way. Your days will cover a real mix of tasks, including:

  • Air ticket reconciliations

  • Invoicing and crediting clients through a GDS system

  • Credit control duties

  • Working closely with the wider teams in the business to resolve accounting queries

  • Logging supplier invoices and forwarding them to the relevant departments

  • Handling the general Finance inbox and delegating emails

You’ll be working from home, with monthly meet-ups in Buckinghamshire, as part of a small Finance Team supporting a company that books corporate travel.

What we’re looking for

  • Able to work Monday–Friday, full time

  • Happy to work from home with monthly meet-ups in Buckinghamshire

  • A keen eye for detail, with an analytical and numerical mind

  • An interest in a career within administration and finance

  • A personable nature and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and via email

  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with travel industry systems such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo would be a real benefit
