We’re looking for a superbly organised Event Manager to join a team of motivated, welcoming and talented Events professionals! Our latest Event Manager position is working for a business travel company in their in house Events department, looking after a portfolio of clientele for their small- medium events in the UK and oversea’s.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?

The position of Event Manager is going to be a busy one! You’ll be adept at handling numerous projects at the same time for small – medium sized groups who are travelling for various business reasons.

You’ll be looking at venues, group accommodation, team building activities and much more as well as liaising with the flights team to co-ordinate any additional travel needs.

Your excellent people skills will really come in to play as you negotiate with suppliers, handle your clients requests with expertise, manage expectations and ensure everyone adheres to deadlines.

You could also find yourself onsite at a client event, conducting pre-event checks, health and safety assessments, o

r helping to manage an event in it’s entirety!

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF YOURS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

– A proven track record of delivering Events in the UK and Overseas
– The ability to forge and maintain client and supplier relationships quickly and effectively
– An understanding of Event/Delegate Management software
– A positive outlook on the future of Events and Travel
– Creativity and confidence in making suggestions to your clients
– Experience in handling multiple small events/meetings at the same time effectively and with precision!

Based in a very accessible London City location, you’ll be working in the office 3 days a week with the other 2 from home. At all times you’ll be supported by a group of like minded people who are looking forward to your bringing your expertise to the team!
