Travel Team Assistant

North West London

 

We’re on the lookout for a Travel Team Assistant who would like to be part of a well established and successful travel company.

 

The is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for travel, that has highest level of attention to detail.

 

The successful candidate will be providing support for the sales team and general office environment with the opportunity to grow and develop

 

Responsibilities

-    Researching and sourcing suppliers in order to create travel proposals
-    Answers phones and deal with clients and suppliers in a professional and timely manner
-    Any administrative duties along with inputting information into the CRM
-    Speaking to hotels and suppliers all over the world to obtain information such as hotel availability and rates
-    General team support
-    Making payments to suppliers when necessary
-    Continually develop and increase product knowledge by assisting with turnarounds
-    Provide accurate itinerary arrangements including restaurant reservations, theatre reservations and other activities for during travel
-    Dealing with amendments, cancellations and special requirements.
-    Contacting clients to help with any concierge requests and then liaising with the hotels to make arrangements where necessary
-    Supporting the sales team with the booking process
-    Processing invoices once the booking has been confirmed

 

As a Travel Team Assistant you will have:

 

-    Keen eye for detail
-    Be able to communicate on all levels
-    Computer literate
-    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner
-    High professional standards
-    Experience using a GDS and CRM is ideal but not essential
-    Ability to adapt and learn new systems
-    Ability to compose and format emails to clients and colleagues without the use of temples
