If yes we have a fantastic role on for a respected and reputable business travel company.

 

Travel industry knowledge would be an advantage but for the right salesperson they would consider a different industry with passion and drive.  Someone who is confident to make sales calls and turn them in to appointments

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Create leads from your own prospecting efforts, telephone calls, leveraging your contacts, existing accounts, marketing and partners in order to build a pipeline, to qualify and identify deals that can be closed
  • Generate new business opportunities within the identified target client sectors
  • To understand the specific need of a potential client through an ongoing relationship and coordinate with the field sales team to develop new business opportunities
  • Work in collaboration with the field sales team to produce successful strategic new business campaigns
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team to develop relevant marketing collateral
  • To enhance our understanding of new prospect companies through building new relationships and establishing new relevant points of contact
  • Strengthening our relationships with potential clients
  • Providing the field sales team with qualified potential appointments to pursue

 

What is required

 

  • Proven experience of developing new potential client relationships
  • Demonstrable track record of significant success in a complex B2B environment
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Proven experience of successfully following up strategic email marketing campaigns
  • Experience of working successfully in a pressurised environment
  • Excellent listening skills coupled with the ability to successfully interpret the specific need of a new business prospect
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail
  • Tenacious and persistent
  • A strong desire to win
  • Proven knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
  • Prioritising a sales funnel
