Business Development Manager
£Excellent basic on offer along with uncapped commision
A fantastic opportunity has come available which can be based in Central London/Dorset or homeworking with 1 day in the office a week for an outstanding Business Travel BDM with a proven sales background in corporate travel. This is a role for a driven, money motivated and successful BDM with a great network of clients.
This is a new role within our client due to expansion of the business because of its ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for own lead generation
- Attend meetings/presentations
- Prepare and present high quality presentations
- Representing company at events and tradeshows
- Source new business leads from targeted business segments and secure meetings with the right person/people in that organisation
Skills required for the role:
- Proven track record of delivering results from a structured sales process in a TMC environment, ideally winning accounts in the £0.2M-£1M bracket
- Commercially aware with strong business and market acumen
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Good analytical skills
- In depth knowledge of UK corporate travel market
- Great industry knowledge & networking skills
- Strong IT skills - word, excel, PowerPoint
- Confident, self motivated and driven
