Business Development Manager 

£Excellent basic on offer along with uncapped commision

 

A fantastic opportunity has come available which can be based in Central London/Dorset or homeworking with 1 day in the office a week for an outstanding Business Travel BDM with a proven sales background in corporate travel.  This is a role for a driven, money motivated and successful BDM with a great network of clients.

 

This is a new role within our client due to expansion of the business because of its ongoing success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for own lead generation
  • Attend meetings/presentations
  • Prepare and present high quality presentations  
  • Representing company at events and tradeshows
  • Source new business leads from targeted business segments and secure meetings with the right person/people in that organisation

 

Skills required for the role:

  

  • Proven track record of delivering results from a structured sales process in a TMC environment, ideally winning accounts in the £0.2M-£1M bracket
  • Commercially aware with strong business and market acumen
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • In depth knowledge of UK corporate travel market
  • Great industry knowledge & networking skills
  • Strong IT skills - word, excel, PowerPoint
  • Confident, self motivated and driven
