Are you working in Business Travel and looking to make a step towards Account Management but finding it difficult to “break in”? Urbanberry Recruitment are looking for an experienced business travel professional who’d like to start working towards a career in Account Management by taking on an Account Management Support role. Dipping your toe in to the varied and interesting world of Account Management you’ll take on a position that moves away from the reservations forefront and on to the side of client services and retention.
The role of Account Management Support would include:
- Preparation of client reports
- Supporting Senior Account Managers in their daily duties
- Learning how Account Managers handle and manage their accounts in order to comply with travel policies and budgets
- Administration duties such as chasing hotel commissions
- Some client reservation activity may be necessary such as booking adhoc hotels
- Attending meetings alongside the Account Managers if required
- Offering support to other areas of the business if needed
We’re looking for a real team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing independent TMC with a focus on client retention and welcoming new business.
This is a great opportunity to move away from a solely operational role and will allow you to gain valuable experience in supporting Account Managers who specialise in the corporate travel sector.
You will be offered a competitive salary and a Monday – Friday role based in modern offices in the heart of London.
